A wide-angle view of an empty football stadium at night, with bright lights and
a large buffalo logo at midfield. A few people stand on the turf near the center. Blue seats fill the stands in the background.![]()
Did you see this? Over 6,500 people recently came together to help light up an NFL stadium – and not for a game! RIT Big Shot 37 took place at Highmark Stadium
in Buffalo, New York, and it might be the most impressive light painting photo yet. The event used a whopping 24 Nikon Z9 cameras and thousands of flashlights
wielded by fans to create a spectacular 360° nighttime panorama of the stadium.
This wasn’t just a cool photo op. It was a massive, carefully orchestrated photographic effort that turned a pro football arena into an open canvas of light. With the Bills’ current home in its final season, it was a fitting tribute powered by creativity, community, and camera gear. Definitely worth a look if you’re into light painting or large-scale photo projects.
