Week #18 Photo Prompt: Signs of Life

This one is about photographing human presence without showing a person.
It’s the trace someone leaves behind – a half-finished coffee, messy footsteps in sand, a light left on. These quiet details often tell stronger stories than a head and shoulders portrait ever could.

Tip
Look for things that feel accidental or unplanned. Something slightly out of place. A door left ajar, a chair turned at an angle, or a worn path through grass. These small details help the viewer imagine the person who was once there.

What traces of life can you find in your everyday surroundings?
