My gear, some used most, some seldom

What kind of gear you need for a session depends on the motive, the possibility to get close to your motive, and so on.
If i should go to a safari once more in life i would bring 2 camera bodies and at least 2 different lenses, probably 4 😉
Sometimes it is to dangerous to try to get close to your motive.

My gear for “everyday” use is:
Canon EOS 5DSR ( i would love to swap it for a new body , but expensive, and i am no action photographer)
Sigma 24-105mm F4 DG OS HSM (i would love to swap this for Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM)
Canon EF16-35mm f/2.8L II USM,
Sigma 50mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art Canon
Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 MACRO USM
A light weight Benro tripod

For sometimes use,
Canon 1DX, for “action” or night shots
JJC Macro Extension Tube Set 3-Piece
Sigma 70-200mm f/2,8 DG OS HSM Sport
Sigma 60-600mm f/4,5-6,3 DG OS HSM Sport for Canon
A heavy Benro tripod with a gimbal head
And Elinchrom studio flashes with different soft boxes, umbrellas, diffusors, etc.
And Canon speedlites with different soft boxes, umbrellas, diffusors, etc.
Radio trigger for remote control, and to avoid movement of camera when doing long exposure shots.

It is not lack of equipment that is the challenge for taking photos, but time 🙂
