What was your primary goal with this photograph?
Last Sunday, Chartres air show. I like airplanes, especially propeller-driven ones, so I photograph them with no other intention than to freeze the image and see it again…
Can you walk us through your thought process when you were making this image?
The difficulty is not to freeze the propeller and therefore to use a relatively slow speed, here 1/160th with a focal length of 600 mm. and a subject traveling at 200 km/h.
