Hello from South Africa

Hi, this is Desi from a little fishing village on the West Coast of South Africa about 150km up the coast from Cape Town. I got my first camera – a Canon 450d with an 18-55mm kit lens just when that model became obsolete and they were trying to get rid of stock at reduced prices. I thought it would be my once in a lifetime purchase but of course when I had the opportunity about a decade later I upgraded to a Canon 80d and a 24-105mm lens. Wish I could afford to upgraded to mirrorless but I can’t warrant the expense on my retirement money so I will just have to learn to use my camera better.
