What was your primary goal with this photograph?
I love this place in an area located in South Moravia, Czechia. I have tried several times to capture the specific mood of the place, the standalone windmill and the waves of the land behind. The mood of peace was strengthened by few deer grazing nearby.
Can you walk us through your thought process when you were making this image?
I knew the place, but I taking a picture there needed a detailed preparation. I had to travel about 300 km to reach it, so I need accommodation, weather forecast and of course all my gears. This day the weather was not perfect, it was cloudy with a strong wind. I felt so disappointed, but nevertheless I went to the place, wait and hoped in a miracle. And in a moment, only for few minutes it happened 🙂
